Gingerbread Milkshake!

At this time of year it's all about "winter warmers" - I for one can only handle so much hot chocolate and steaming egg nog lattes before I have to have something more refreshing! Today's recipe is for a gingerbread milkshake, rich, decadent and extremely Christmassy - but not too hot and heavy!

Ingredients for 2 large glasses:
300 ml Gold top milk
3 scoops of vanilla ice cream
1 tablespoon of extra thick double cream
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
A large handful of gingerbread biscuits

Here comes the really difficult and skilled part.

Put all the ingredients in a blender and turn it on.

Phew! Once that's done, pour it into your glasses and serve. Enjoy!

Ps: I got the milk crate from a lovely shop called The Hambledon in Winchester.

  1. I saw a mulled wine milkshake on another blog yesterday - 'tis the season for ice creamy drinks, I guess! Sounds so good.
